Systems Integration → Cybersecurity

Mohamed Berghli

Communications & Systems Integration Engineer, building toward security engineering.

I design and integrate the physical and network systems that keep critical infrastructure running — CCTV, access control, intercoms, and IP networks on NYC Transit projects — and I'm extending that background into offensive and defensive security: CompTIA Security+, cloud security on Azure, and hands-on CTF work exploiting web apps, Linux, and Windows systems.

What I work on

SHEET 01 / 03
01 — FIELD

Systems Integration

IP-based audio, CCTV, access control, intercoms, and RF testing across NYC Transit accessibility and construction projects.

02 — LAB

Offensive Security

CTF exercises exploiting web application, Linux, and Windows server vulnerabilities using Nessus, Metasploit, and Nmap.

03 — CLOUD

Cloud & Application Security

Building and hardening a web app on Microsoft Azure — Key Vault, certificates, and a Web Application Firewall.

Why cybersecurity

A running log of what I'm learning as I move from systems integration into security — CTFs, certifications, home-lab notes, and the occasional rant about vendor documentation.
